The Lorain County Recorders Office has advised on new requirements for standardized guildlines for documents that are submitted for recording. Please see deed form requirements.
DEEDS - The Lorain County Sheriff's Office does not have a provided deed form. The attorney of record shall prepare the deed and submit to our office for review. NOTE: THERE ARE NEW STANDARDIZED GUIDLINES FOR DOCUMENTS THAT ARE RECORDED BY THE LORAIN COUNTY RECORDER. THESE REQUIREMENTS CAN BE VIEWED AT THE FOLLOWING LINK. THE NEW STANDARDS GO INTO EFFECT JULY 1ST 2009.
DEED FORM REQUIREMENTS - Can be downloaded from this link. The attorney who files the writ of execution shall, not later than seven days after the filing of the order of confirmation of sale pursuant to section 2329.36 of the Revised Code, make to the purchaser a deed.
